Gypsy*Favorites - NYFW S/S 2011

While the web is already buzzing with London fashion week photos, I thought I'd share with you my favorites from New York fashion week. I went through all the shows (which turned out to be a much longer process than I expected!!!) and selected the ones closest to my heart. :)

I loved
- Anna Sui  for her clearly gypsy, free spirited line
- Jenny Packham for her beautiful embellished clothes (TDF alarm!!!)
- LAMB because it reminded me of African travels and city visits at the same time
- Marchesa... oh Marchesa... I DIE!!!
- Michael Kors for using my favorite colors in simple and clean outfits (major style crush!)
- Naem Khan for his jetset collection
- and Vivienne Tam for pretty embroidery mixed with ethnic prints

    I loved Micheal Kors...and I need to get a pair of his green pants and I love the oversized sweaters...Such a easy-going and sexy collection:) Hope you had a fantastic weekend,sweetie

    From those that you showed, I like the Marchessa's collection the most. But there were tons of other collections that I absolutelly fell in love with like Christian Siriano, Lela Rose, Tibi...and more than 10 others. :)

    I like the girl in the Sui row, on the far left. I like that she is smiling.
    And the 2 shots of Michael Kors' baggy...almost remind me of Aladdin and Jasmine...pants. So cool!

    i stumbled upon your blog a couple of months ago and absolutely love it! (and i'm finally getting the courage to comment, ha!) i absolutely LOVED naem khan's whole line. i blogged about badgley mischka's collection (it was so whimsical and absolutely stunning) i also thought betsy johnson's line was crazy and fun.
