It's Time

Remember how I've been talking about my new life for months now? How I quit my job and how I'm looking forward to spend my time photographing happy faces and beautiful places? 

Today was my last day at work. When I handed over the laptop and mobile phone I had for the past 4.5 years it's downed on me. It's over. It's time to make the change, I was brave enough to make the change! I truly believe that if you want something bad enough and  you're willing to work for it, there is just nothing you cannot do! Tomorrow is a new day, the beginning of a new life. I'm excited and hopeful, a little bit scared but mostly really happy. We have one life only and time is flying. DO IT!

    Formalizing life game strategies is so necessary. Release those old tools with appreciation for their loyalty. They have served their purpose for you well, and now it is Graduation Day. Divorce that old scene with love, and walk away.

    I sorta kinda did something similar in November. I quit the safety net of my full-time job (which paid really well and gave me health insurance for free), for a part-time job that pays less, but I can work from home and work when it's convenient for me. It's been a really really good change. Best of luck to you in your new venture!

    I was thinking of you today about leaving work, and was wondering if it has been hard? I've had the roughest time this week. It's funny the way people act sometimes. I now realize that 4 weeks is too long of notice, as it just gets so uncomfortable. I was hoping it would be smoother. I understand all the fears you're facing, and wish you all the luck. :) I have one more week.
