The Winner Takes It All

These days I'm literally on cloud number 9. The weather could not be more perfect, we can finally leave our tights in the drawer and the streets turned green in just a few short days. I was waiting for this kind of weather to finally wear my new Zara horserace dress. Don´t you just love when a garment has an actual story to it? This one is the lovechild of a rainy day in Barcelona. While it was raining cats and dogs I decided that I had no other choice but to check out the indoor shopping scene. :) I haven´t expected to find any bargain items in the middle of the season, but then I spotted this one single sales rack at the back of Zara. My heart started to beat a little faster and while I was getting closer, I zoomed in on this patterned dress. I was already reaching for it when a respectable Spanish lady pulled it from the rack, right in front of me. I couldn´t really had a close look at it, so I had no clue if it was in my size, but it sure was the one and only piece. So I did what any other crazy shopper would do, I started to follow the lady. Boy, was she in the mood for shopping! After about a dozen circles around the store, she finally decided to try the dress on and when she put it back on the counter, I jumped like a puma to get my prey (seriously! you should have seen the look on the shopkeeper´s face! :D) Long story short it was my size, it has a lovely vintage vibe along with a pretty horse pattern and it´s mine now (for 5.99euros! :)! Get ready to see this dress a lot more this summer.  L.O.V.E
