La Marina

Bikini and Beach Dress - Yamamay, Sandals - Buffalo, Sunnies - Mango, Jewlry - from travels

It´s never been one of my fantasies to own a sailing boat or a yacht (thank goodness I save myself from a lot of disappointment ;D) but I do love to look at them from time to time on vacation. Walking around in a beautiful marina filled with obscenely gorgeous boats, I can´t help but wonder the history of these beauties. Where are they coming from? Who owns them? Where do they go with it? It´s almost like people watching just better, like an exciting game of Cluedo.  Have you ever been on a boat like that? Once I´d love to take a daytrip on one of these just to see what the hype is all about, but until then I just hang around in the marina admiring these sea princesses. Ahoy!

    Lovely pictures...nothing beats setting out on a boat! Luckily, now that we live in the Caribbean - we actually do get to go out and sail - believe me - I'm thanking my lucky stars.. p.s. Having a great giveaway starting today..

    I have a slight obsession with boats in a marina. For some reason, even though I don't have a strong desire to own a boat, I am so in love with the scene they set. I could watch boats all day! Love how laid back you look! : )

    Love your photos!

    I have grown up 'boating' my whole life. My dad & step dad both own 40+ foot boats. Owning a boat is far less glamorus than it seems. They are expensive, messy, require a lot of time and dedication. Yes, they are sooo much fun, but they are fun because I don't own them. I get to hang around on them, not do the extensive cleaning or spending of money. Find a friend with a boat, bring some wine and cheese, and have fun.
