The candidates so far:
1. Ugly but at least I can hide it in a big messenger bag
2. I like this (and they have many different colors and patterns) but it has a bit of a diaper bag feel to me. :)
3. Now I love this, but it's a bit too pricy
4. So far this little fake-leather number is definately my favorite
Any other suggestions?

I'm also trying to find a decent camera bag for my boyfriend. For almost a year now he carries his Nikon DSLR in his backpack wrapped in a sweater :(

Unfortunately, I have yet to find a cute DSLR bag out there..:(
ReplyDeleteI think the Shootsac one looks cool, plus at $60 it's quite the bargain -compared to the normal $180.
But, you are right. The last one's definitely more you (from the little I've seen of you this far, anyway) ;)
Maybe you should go for it...

ReplyDeletei agree with everyone else, the last one is awesome. we find that we just end up throwing our camera in our day bag though... you don't want a camera bag that looks like a camera bag because then you'll just draw unnecessary attention to yourself.

ReplyDeleteYees , I also agree the leather bag looks better. It is useful, beautiful and fashionable... not only useful like camera bags usually are.
I wouldn't have a clue of what to wear with it though since it is not really my style, but it does give a sense of a gipsy vintage. =D lol.

Years ago I had the same problem with laptop bags - now you can get lovely ones, but they all used to be these big bulky canvas things that looked like tacky corporate freebies! I wonder if now that leather bum bags/fanny packs are back in if you can get something suitable in that format?! I'll keep my eyes open for one :-)
