Have you ever wondered how do bloggers/photographers make those amazing streetstyle pics where the background is blurry, the colors are vivid and everyone looks just great!? Here is one of the secrets, my new baby, a 50mm f/1.8 by Nikkor (similar to the one used by Vanessa Jackman!). Cannot wait to take it out for a spin this weekend! Get ready for photo overload next week! :)

ReplyDeletethe 50/1.8 is a great lens - it practically never leaves my camera! and super affordable too. if i wasn't saving up for my move to india i'd get the 50/1.2 - the bokeh from that is like buttah (even more than the 1.8)

i have that one too! it definitely takes great blurred background photos. but you have to stand pretty far away from your subject so that's annoying. otherwise its quite good!
