Strawberry Summer Cake

A few days ago I felt an urge to bake something. (I know... doesn't happen too often :)) I wanted something simple with strawberries, so I used this recipe to create a strawberry summer cake! ;) Even though I didn't have all the ingredients I made it work and even added a few spoons of Philadelphia to the mix, just because everything tastes better with a little cream cheese! ;) Due to the slow baking, the strawberries turned into jam and with some cream on top, it was simply divine!
