Totally Awesome Actions

To be perfectly honest with you, if you had asked me a few months ago what  Photoshop actions were, I wouldn't had a clue. I don't exactly remember where, but I found a link to Totally Rad where a cool guy in a cool video explained very simply how these little nifty Photoshop creatures can rock my photo editing world forever. (check out the video HERE) I've become obsessed with the freely downloadable demo actions (I love u Lux!) and pretty soon I was the proud owner of the whole Totally Rad package. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone getting a bit serious about photography or just wanting to improve their pictures!

and just for fun, here is a recipe from something I've been working on today:

1. Removed pimples/blemishes with the spot removal tool
2. Added a bit of fullness to the eyebrows with the stamp tool
3. Pro Retouch on the face - 70% (TRA1) - this tool is AWESOME
4. Eye Bump - 100% (TRA1) - for whiter/clearer eyes
5. Oh, Snap! - 44% (TRA1) -  for sharper images / better contrast
6. Pool Party - 33% (TRA2) - for the vintage/sunkissed colors
