The last day of summer

Friday morning the radio announced that it would be the last warm day of the summer. Trying to take full advantage, we embarked on an outdoor spa day with my dear friend Sara from Amsterdam. Living the gypsy life means that you have friends all over the place and that is one of the gypset features I enjoy the most. :) We spent an amazingly exhausting weekend sightseeing, partying and biking around Budapest. I can't wait to show you all the images we took in my beautiful hometown! :)

The radio was not kidding by the way... summer is officially over.

Sunday = Funday

After a horrible week I was damn sure looking forward to some downtime this weekend... After a busy Saturday when I meticulously cleaned the apartment, shopped enough food for a month and tried two new recipes (ehmmm... they were eatable :) I was ready for some fun on Sunday. There is so little time left from this summer... let's try to get the most out of it while we can! :) Did you do anything good over the weekend?

VIVA Espana!!!

I am convinced that I had the best seat for the World Cup final...swimming stage on the lake Balaton, sunset, the most comfy sunbeds, huge LCD screens, ice cold beers and fruit cocktails... simply divine!!! And... the icing on the cake... SPAIN WON!!!!! VIVA ESPANA!!! My heart is yours forever!

When Hot is getting Hotter

You know that feeling when you want to stop time from moving, seasons from changing... that's how I've been feeling lately. This summer is full of adventures and travels to remote places (without an internet access which makes regular posting challenging). I love love love this weather and being outdoors most of the time is just divine. It's really unbelievable what a huge effect this temperature has on my mood (constantly happy lately!!! :))

Only 2 days after we got back from Italy it was weekend again and time to hit the lake Balaton. On the North of the lake there is a famous wine region where my father owns a small vineyard which we could borrow and voila... another perfect weekend began. I will not bore you with the details, but the let the pictures speak for themselves... lots of food, relaxing on the beach, a music festival with a huge David Guetta party, friends, surf, sunshine, reagge :)

And now I hardly have time to unpack... in 4 days I'm flying to Egypt!!! :)

Flower Power

I don't know how you guys do it. Last week the weather was just crazy around here 30C+ (90F+) in the shadow... When I feel like a grill chicken not only can I not dress the way I want... but I'm intolerant to any makeup, jewelry or heels... So basically I just want to sit in a pool in a bikini the whole day.  Respect to all the stylish fab girls who look like they are just stepping our of a magazin no matter what the weather's like! :) The best outfit I managed to put together was this small flower number, which is OK but slightly makes me look prego... (I'm NOT! :) Luckily the weather went down to a nice 25-30C this week which is just  the right temperature for me, but now I'm stuck home with tons of work and preparation to do for my admission exam next week!
