New Lens

Have you ever wondered how do bloggers/photographers make those amazing streetstyle pics where the background is blurry, the colors are vivid and everyone looks just great!? Here is one of the secrets, my new baby, a 50mm f/1.8 by Nikkor (similar to the one used by Vanessa Jackman!). Cannot wait to take it out for a spin this weekend! Get ready for photo overload next week! :)

Happy Weekend babes!

Girl Crush: Shae Acopian Detar

I have a new obsession and she is called Shae Acopian Detar. It was on an early evening that I've found her majorly MAJORLY! inspiring blog and I stayed up all night reading through her archives. The girl is a creative genius, a vintage princess, my hero and role model... She is an aspiring photographer just like me and I cannot wait to style my first vintage photoshoot in her honor next week! Go check her out, I know you gonna love her! :)

Inspiration: Alfie

Some of the key aspects of photography are inspiration and good planning. I've recently started to work on organizing an Alfie themed shoot and in the name of research I re-watched the movie last night. J'adore! Could Sienna Miller look any more gorgeous?! The collages are amazing (and you know how much I adore collages :), hence I'll be working with my little team on trying to replicate the drama and passion that are in these images. Excuse me for the crappy image quality, I literally took pictures of my laptop screen while watching the movie! :) Enjoy!

Guest Blogging

For the first time ever I was asked to guest blog. It's really weird to write for someone else's blog and it was definitely harder than I thought it would be, but in the end it was a real pleasure! :) Hop on over to Urban Style Vibes for your daily dose of Gypsy life, travel and design! Thanks Lise!

Photoshoot: Autumn Leaves are Falling

As I told you last week I had my first real photoshoot as the photographer on Friday. A big fat thank you to everyone who has cheered for the good weather, we couldn't have been luckier, it was one of the last pretty days of fall. The team was great and I swear I could not believe that I made these photographs in the end, everything came perfectly together. For photography details and behind the scenes shots head over to Gypsy*Photography. I'm eager to hear your thoughts! :)

Dice Ring

Normally I'm not one for quirky jewelry, but when I spotted this dice ring on a design fair I simply couldn't resist. I don't know if it's the childhood memories, the 3D design or the fact that it makes me feel very artsy but it's certainly one of my new favorite pieces to spice up a simple black outfit for school!
