{Dubrovnik, Croatia}
This is Gypsy*Friday, my weekly series about the amazing places I was fortunate to visit for shorter or longer times...Did you know that a chunk of Croatia (and Austria and Slovakia and Ukraine and Romania and Serbia) used to belong to Hungary? Once we were a fairly big country with mountains and a sea (but today we are tiny without any significant natural beauties. Buuuhuuuuu....) As the only sea we ever had is now in Croatia, Hungarians like to think of some of the Croatian coastline as our own. :)
Croatia is a little jewel in the Adriatic see (just opposite the Italian boot) full of treasures to be explored. While I'm not a big fan of the overly touristic Istria, Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever seen and you must go and visit if you get a chance too! Romantic cobblestone streets, tiny houses, sea all over it and huge rocks from which you can jump down to the sea. Love at first sight.
P.S: These are actually the first vacation pictures I ever took with a digital camera.... don't laugh, I'm practically a teenager on these pics.. :D
