Meet Roxy
I'll admit I am not a huge animal person. I do not swoon when I see a cute dog and it takes me a lot to hold a cat or a dog. That was until I met Roxy. I spent the last weekend at my father's house at the Balaton and suddenly she just appeared out of nowhere. First we were not thrilled, but then this little bundle of joy behaved like she was our dog, the nicest, cutest, calmest little thing ever. I suspect she is also part cat as she is scared to hell from other dogs, cleans herself and I swear she even purrs like a cat! Long story short by the end of the weekend we decided to keep her and my father would give her a new home. I must admit driving home on the highway my tears were falling and I was wishing IIIIIIIIIII could keep her, but I know she will have a much better place at my father's house (with a big garden) than in my city center apartment. I'm definitely in puppy fever though and I'm thinking about adopting a smaller dog. What do you think about keeping dogs in a flat? I'd love to hear your views!

What a sweetie! I love cats and dogs. We used to have a little dog in our city apartment - it was ok but we had to take her out for walks a lot. Animals are happier when they have a garden... And you travel so much - what would you do then?
Aww she is adorable....As you know...I have two westies in our apartment and I love it!!!
Before we got them Balazs did a research if they would be ok living in the city...They are perfect little cuties for people who are busy....Btw: did you see a photo of them I posted last week? If not have a look here http://www.flickr.com/photos/express-o/
(you will find them for sure)
Kisses, sweetie and have a sunny morning:)

Dogs are the best friends you could ever wish for, i would think they wouldn't mind living in a flat, but you would need to be really commited to the regular walkies!
And i agreee about the travelling..what would doggie do?
Roxy is cute i wonder where she came from? x
Awww!! how cute!!
I am also not an animal person as you, but she looks pretty and very frolic. And her colour reminds me of an amber.
Definitely get one if you have friends that could dog-sit while you're out of town. We adopted an AMAZING dog last year in an apt. Lots of walks, but we were able to take him with us on all road trips. Great decision!
awww!!! Roxy is too cute!!! xoxo
aww, Hi Roxy!

wow, so cute. i´m craving more and more for a dog. sometimes it´s lonely in a single flat :o ... ;D
greetz to you my dear ;)
She's so cute! I think living in a flat with a dog would be hard though. Most dogs need room to run around.
EEEEE love Roxy! so cute!

She's beautiful!
But keeping a dog in a city house is difficult, let alone a flat.
But she is very pretty and charming!

love love love him
I've fallen for her too!! Wish you could keep her!! xo
Most adorable dog, ever.
Roxy is adorable!
what a cutie pie! it would be tough to leave that face.
i've never owned my own dog before, so i'm afraid i don't have much useful advice. i'm not home much, so kitties work better as they are pretty well self maintained. :)
ahhh cutest thing ever!!! and she is so lucky to be in a big garden and lots of running around!!
Although I adore puppies and have one of my own (at my parents house in the alps) I dont think I would ever have one in an apartment in the city....its just not as happy for the dog and hard to time-manage! plus you travel sooo much, what would you do?

I would want to keep her too!!! she is so adorable!!!

I love dogs and one day would love to have one again. But when I do, I do not work full time, have a garden, time to walk the dog, have a large car so we can take the dog with us on holidays, a cleaning lady (you have to vacume like crazy:-)). In other words, having a dog its great and you get so much love, but its work and changes the way of your life. You also have to walk the dog, be home at certain hours, espcially with puppy's...
If you want one, think about it well!
ohh ^o^
so sweet :D <3
Cutest thing ever!
Dogs can be great for apartments if you have the right dog. A quick search will give you lots of suggestions, but generally speaking, any dog that doesn't require a lot of exercise or room to run will be good.
The more exercise your dog requires and doesn't get, the more destructive he'll be around the house while you're gone.
Good luck to you if you do get a dog! I'm a serious animal lover and will love up on any animal!
PS I found you through Pretty Pleased!

cutie pie!!! oh my gosh. i am such a dog person, and my dogs give that same look that she's giving in the second photo! she's all, "i am so sad that you're not petting me right now..."
adorable!
OMG Roxy is absolutely adorable! What a love!
Congrats on the new member of your family! I adopted a puppy from a slaughter house in South Korea and it was the greatest thing I ever did. My boyfriend and I share such a love for her and don't know why we waited so long! It's definitely work but well worth ever ounce!

Omg he/she is sooo cute =)I used to live in an apartment with a dog. It's not an ideal situation, but if you have the time to go and walk a couple of times a day, it should work out just fine =) x
