Around the Globe

Next to hanging maps (like this or this) and prints (like this and this) I'm looking forward to display my soon to be globe collection in my living room. I just love how they can transform any space into a globetrotting maven and I decided to start a collection as of today. Ebay, flea markets and vintage design stores here I come! Project globe is on! Do you have one at home?

Gaby! The globes are gorgeous - especially the hanging ones, and the CLOCK, wow! Been reading since the spring but globes deserved a comment. I love looking at old maps and seeing old countries and names and trying to determine what year it was! hahaha

I find Globes amazing!
I only have one large painting of the world in my room, it looks like antique - it probably isn't!

my parents have one at our house at home and i think it adds such character to a room and is so fun to look at. i definitely should think about investing in one or two for my apartment.

I always loved globes and all kind of maps. I could spend hours studying maps of all different kind of countries. so my parents already gave my a globe as a christmas present a long long time ago. I still have it :)
I guess they fueled my longing for traveling since an early age :)

I randomly stumbled upon your blog and love it! I don't have a globe collection (yet) due to space issues but they're definitely on my list of things I want to collection (aside from clothes and shoes)! I love that you have a post on Thailand, I'm going there in 2 weeks and can't wait :)
