Remember how I've been talking about my new life for months now? How I quit my job and how I'm looking forward to spend my time photographing happy faces and beautiful places?
Today was my last day at work. When I handed over the laptop and mobile phone I had for the past 4.5 years it's downed on me. It's over. It's time to make the change, I was brave enough to make the change! I truly believe that if you want something bad enough and you're willing to work for it, there is just nothing you cannot do! Tomorrow is a new day, the beginning of a new life. I'm excited and hopeful, a little bit scared but mostly really happy. We have one life only and time is flying. DO IT!

I sorta kinda did something similar in November. I quit the safety net of my full-time job (which paid really well and gave me health insurance for free), for a part-time job that pays less, but I can work from home and work when it's convenient for me. It's been a really really good change. Best of luck to you in your new venture!

I was thinking of you today about leaving work, and was wondering if it has been hard? I've had the roughest time this week. It's funny the way people act sometimes. I now realize that 4 weeks is too long of notice, as it just gets so uncomfortable. I was hoping it would be smoother.
