Ti Amo Alps

photo2 Kopie

Sometimes I feel that we, bloggers overuse the words awesome, fantastic, unforgettable, but simply there are no other words to describe my weekend spent at Monta Rosa in Italy. I´ve grown up thinking that skiing/snowboarding is something people do around Christmas or January and never would have imagined that there is another, much better snow experience out there at springtime. We´ve spent 3 days in practically empty slopes filled with fresh snow bordered by green fields filled with growing flowers. The weather has been amazing and I´ve never had a nicer, more relaxing or more rewarding time. Despite the white mask of cream I smirred on my face each day I now have a cancer red face, lips that look like I just came out of a plastic surgery clinic where they injected whatever they normally inject in lips (it´s three times the normal size :) but I don´t care. This weekend was a truly unforgettable one and from now on I´ll always try to schedule my snowboarding trips towards the very end of the season. It´s AWESOME! Period. YOU.MUST.TRY!

Love the photos of you with the mountains in the background! I just don't get skiing, I'm afraid! Have to suffer it because the better half loves it, but I'm quite happy left on the green piste ;) xxx

I'm going skiing to France in three weeks! I can't wait. And I totally agree with you. Skiing is much better in spring time than in the winter. :)

So true, some of the best skiing is later in the season. And the best part is that you don't have to bundle up as much.

Spring snowboarding is the best...if just for the only reason that it's not as cold!! Such a beautiful looking location!

Oh my gosh, that looks amazing! We went skiing twice last winter but this year we haven't taken a single vacation -- clearly we're long overdue! So I'm especially jealous -- looks so fun!

I'm so jealous of your kit and where you are - the season is so short here! I only went boarding 3 times this winter, its just shameful!
