Shooting Friends

It's been a while since I posted some of my photography work, but quite frankly it's been a while since I've done a proper shoot. Don't get me wrong, I'm working hard as a bull on my photography skills and setting up my own little company, but as I've had a lot of shoots at the beginning of the year I felt like I needed to concentrate on developing my post processing skills and thanks to a PS private teacher I'm definitely getting good! It's such an accomplishment to tackle such a monster, but by now I can do almost anything I want in PS and that makes me real happy.

Anyway, back to the shoot.... My gorgeous model was Zeynep, one of my oldest friends from Turkey. We met in an English language camp in Malta when we were 16 and now we both live in Berlin. Life can be really funny sometimes! Meeting friends all over the world and reconnecting with them is definitely one of my favorite part of living the gypsy life! :)

Oh how I love portrait photography! Planning the location, props... etc it's SO MUCH FUN! Cannot wait to have my company and do this several times a week! :) But until then I'would love to have your feedback! Which shot do you like the most?

Really nice photos although 4th one is my favorite.
As about Photoshop, I can feel you as I have to use it as well, after shooting the collections for my store.
Its not the program that is the problem, its photoshopping 300+ photos! Most of the time I think either my face will permanently glue to the screen or I will definitely go blind.
Zooming tool is good, still it doesn't stop me unconsciously moving towards the screen :)

Keep up the good work and I hope you will start your business as planned.
Regards from Greece.

These are beautiful! I would love to be a portrait photographer too... but I only ever have time for self portraits... oh well! My fave is the on in the grass. It looks the most like you captured her personality and essence! It's simple and honest. Are you on flickr? If so, I'll find ya and take a look at more photos, if not, you should be! It's great for getting pictures out there!
