LADUREE Paris

As I´ve been lucky enough to visit Paris several times in the past, I wasn´t really planning to go any of the obligatory tourist rounds, except for one! LADUREE! I have never had a macaroon in my life and we thought that there could not be a better start to a girlie day than breakfast at the famous Parisienne landmark. Well, I´m sad to say that I´ve yet to have breakfast, or try a macaroon at Laduree... you see we definitely wanted to sit in the cafe part and as the one on Champs Elysee was under renovation and it was too late for breakfast by the time we got to the one at Rue Royale (they don´t let you have just a coffee or a snack in lunchtime...) we were starving and settled for some tasty crepes in a nearby creperie (more on that later ;). Otherwise Laduree seems everything I´ve imagined it to be, classic girlie, chic and expensive... ;) Maybe next time!

did they let you take pictures inside? or were you sneaky enough? I've been to Laduree twice and they always get weird when you take pictures :(

But yours are definitely gorgeous <3

There's one in London on Piccadilly of course. Looks just as scrumptious! But the real treat on Piccadilly is the Japanese sweet ship: Minamoto Kitchoan (I think!). Glorious and unusal sweets.
