A Walk in the Park

Shirt, Necklace & Bracelet - H&M, Leggings & Boots - Zara

One of the things I love the most about Barcelona (apart from the fact that I'm walking outside in a shirt without a jacket in December ;)) is that it's full of cute little parks which provide a lot of opportunities for photo shoots! ;) We fired these few quick test shots before an editorial session that my friend Caitlin organized (I was assisting her). It's amazing to find friends who share your passion for photography! We always have so much to talk about, not to mention that it's great for my blogpics too! ;)

Surprise Trip to Paris

I hardly had time to frantically throw everything out of my suitcase and switch my bikinis & pareos for my winter coat and leather gloves and I was already off to Paris! ;) This trip, even though it was planned for a while, was a total secret, as I decided to hop over to surprise one of my best friends on her birthday! The long weekend has been a blur of girlie talks, delicious raspberry mojitos, blogger friends, walking around, shooting, Christmas markets, trying to avoid the rain and a ridiculous amount of crepes. More to come on my Parisienne adventures soon. ;) Here is what I was wearing almost the entire time. Zara wool jacket, brown leather gloves, my favorite Foley + Corinna maxi bag, leggings and riding boots. Paris, Je t´aime (except for the rain)!

Almost Roadtrip...

We have been excitedly waiting for Sunday when we were supposed to drive around the island with our rented car. We have packed our bags and were already on our way to pick up our car when we realized... none of us had our driver´s licence with us. BUMMER! As the sun was shining, we shook off the disappointment, went to the beach to take some pictures and spent the rest of the day by the pool, getting roasted in the company of a great book. Not bad for the first Advent Sunday! ;) It was very surreal to watch everyone´s facebook updates about Christmas trees, hot wine and candles... I feel so lucky and blessed.... from now on I´ll only go on vacation in the winter!!!! (or not ;) IT´S THE BEST!

Hola, I'm back!

Blazer & T-shirt - Zara, Pants - Amisu, Scraf- from Istanbul, Sunnies - Mango, Shoes - Primark

Holaaa!!! Remember me? I know I know I should start by apologizing for being such a bad bad blogger and not posting much lately, but you know what, c'est la vie! Sometimes life just gets in the way and when you're homeless, in a new country with hardly anyone you know, they steal your spankin new camera you bought the day before just to better fulfill your blogger duties ;) and it's a struggle to get a stable internet connection, blogging just needs to take a backseat. Yeah a lot has been going on! ;) Today I've received my final moving box in my new room, which means that I'm officially totally moved! I'm LOVING it so far! It really is a dream come true and I cannot wait to share all my new stories with you! I'm back Babes! ;)
Big thanks to Caitlin for being awesome and taking these shots of me today in the break of our first photoshoot together! Caitlin is an ahhhamazing photographer who, just like me just moved to Barcelona! I'm lucky to know and have been able to assist this girl, who is responsible for so many beautiful images (including the latest Threadsence lookbook... have you seen it? LOVE!)

Viennese Stairs

Paisley Shirt - Mango, Leggings & Leather Boots - Zara, Headband - Vicky's, Camera Bag - c/o THEIT

Yes, I admit it! I'm absolutely obsessed with my THEIT bag! I adore it because it´s roomy and fits everything without screaming camera bag from far away. They are pretty hard to come by as they are constantly sold out, BUT a little birdie told me that they just got new stocks so get it while it´s hot! You can use the promo code LOVEGYPSY15 at checkout to get 15% off your new bag! ;) Sweet!

Gypsies & Passports

Sunnies - Mango, Scarf - H&M (similar HERE), Watch - Michael Kors, Camera Bag - c/o THEIT, Skirt - Vintage Lux, Leather Boots & Leather Jacket - Zara (similar HERE)

I was extra super douper excited to fly to Vienna for a photoshoot because it meant that I get to catch up with Vicky! Miss Bikinis&Passports was the first blogger I have ever met in real life when she visited Budapest with her friends about a year ago and we have been blogger besties ever since. The past two days have been full of blog brainstorming, tips sharing and filling in the real life gaps (spiced up with some photoshoots, cupcakes and gelato ;).  She not only let me crash at her place but have also been taking me around, showing me the best of her Vienna! (you can check her Vienna city guide here)

I love blogging for many reasons, but the most important one is the real life connections I get to make with amazing girls all over the world. Even if it´s just sending a personal message on twitter, leaving an extra special comment, doing a photoshoot or meeting up for coffee, these connections always makes me appreciate my baby blog that much more. I only wish Vicky and I would live in the same city so we could inspire each other and take pictures together more often! ;) THANK YOU VICKY for being the sweetest, cutest blogger bestie ever and thank you for letting me crash at your place!

Desert Heat

I haven´t felt real heat in the longest of time and I cannot even tell you how good it felt complaining about the almost 40C heat in the Sardinian "desert" during our roadtrip to Alghero. We spent our weekend discovering some of the superb open air discos by the beach (after a bottle of Limoncello I had the best time ever and danced until sunrise!!! ME!!! The anti party animal!), eating a lot of real Italian food (more on that later) and just trying to recover from the long nights by the pool. On our way back home we discovered this BEAUTIFUL little church literally in the middle of nowhere and we snapped a few pictures before we escaped back to our car and the good old air conditioning. I was wearing my absolute favorite gypsy summer dress by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent (last seen here).

Today I´m travelling back to Berlin for a quick pit stop before I fly to Dublin on Tuesday. I´m sad that my vacation flew away so fast but I´m excited for all the travels coming up in the next few weeks! ;)

Sardinian Wilderness

The other day we went on a little road trip through the mountains of Sardinia. For an island this hot, there is an amazing flora and fauna, lush forrests, quaint little rivers, cactus, flowers everything a beautiful island can offer.

The view from the hills is amazing... reminds me of pictures of Tuscany which I´ve yet to visit! ;)

We ventured into a little forrest to snap a few pictures.

I was in the middle of "working it" for the camera when suddenly, out of nowhere Babe appeared...

Just moments before we were talking about the wild pigs that live in the area and how dangerous they can be. Needless to say I froze to death and was contemplating what to do in the event of a Babe attack. But seriously what would you do? Run away? Or maybe try to scare him away? Luckily he took a few good look at us and then disappeared back in the wilderness as quickly as he appeared.

We found this amazing view point overlooking the harbour of Santa Maria something... Sardinia is really a gorgeous island and even though it´s almost two weeks that I´m here I feel like we haven´t seen anything yet. It makes me sad that in a few short days we have to leave but hey... I guess it only means we need to come back soon right? ;)

We´ll be going on another road trip today to visit some friends and dance the night away (let´s see how that goes... I haven´t been much of a party animal lately... or ever actually ;))

Have a wonderful weekend y´all!
