Oh Boy, best six months of my life! :) Crazy parties, great new friends, cute boys, bikes, lots of travelling, windmills, wooden shoes, tulips... what's not to love? Have you ever been an exchange student abroad? Most people will tell you that it's the best experience you can have in life!

This makes me think of the song "Amsterdam" by Peter Bjorn and John. It also makes me want to spend a year backpacking across this beautiful locale. Gorgeous photographs, my love!! :)
I so wish that I traveled more while young. We have taken our kids to Rarotonga, Cook Island. My daughter went to Korea and we are sending my son to Washington DC next week.
Hi Gabby, I love Amsterdam too! Though I've never been lucky enough to live there... I only spent a couple of says there but I found that compared to Madrid it had this kind of calm and collected vibe that I just loved! Hope I can go back there some day :-)

I didn't know much about Amsterdam before I visited oh so long ago, except of course the 'coffee houses' and clogs and tulips, but ugh, such a beautiful city, great food, nice people, etc. I wish I had the chance to visit the country side though! (I guess I did visit it through the '3D' show I saw in the city. I hope to live there one day, even if just for a few years.

I used to live in Amsterdam. Amazing place. So nice to read someones blog who has experienced it too.
