Paris... probably the number one tourist destination in Europe... I'll be honest with you, the first time I visited I was hugely disappointed. It's pretty and all but to me it was nothing special, way too touristy, way too cold (I mean the people not the weather) and architecture wise not prettier than Vienna or Budapest. (Oh I can see the row of angry comments coming my way :) Let's just say, for me it was neither the most romantic, nor the prettiest place I've ever been to. Italy or Spain are much more my cup of tea. I've been to Paris 4-5 times though (one of my best friends lives there) and I like it each time a bit more. As soon as you immerse in the way that locals live and stop running from the Eiffel tower to the Notre Dame, you start to enjoy it much more. Here are a couple of (very touristy) pics for you. Paris is a must see in every girl's life, so don't believe me, go check it out for yourself! :)

Barcelona by far baby!!! haha, Barcelona is our soft spot Gabby! But Paris was beautiful, I felt like it was painted, but definitely over rated! xo
I went to Paris with my parents for the weekend when i was about 16, i'd love to go back with my Hubbie, now i'm 'older' and could totally appreciate the whole sitting-outside-with-an-esspresso-while-looking-cool lifestyle :)
I love Paris. It's one of the my favorite cites.
i've been to Paris when i was 18 - i'd love to go back now - where i have a TOTALLY different perspective on things :o)

Looks like you had fun. I agree about the cold people. The don't seem to like Americans.
Have a great weekend!

I adore Paris...so much!!! Possibly because I have a bunch of friends there and I feel very good in the city... We have a few of our favourite spots where we always go and those are not the typical touristy spots...Those photos are very cute :)
Hope you had a fun day and wish you a wonderful weekend sweetie :)

Wonderful pictures in Paris :)
Kiss. and enjoy your trip !
I love Paris -been there 3-4 times, while I was living in Brussels- but if I had to chose the one city I'm absolutely head over heels with, I'd have to go with Rome!
Barcelona seemed very nice, too -from the little I managed to see in the short couple of days my first visit lasted. Definitely another place I'd like to go back to for more...
Ps. Fantastic -4th- photo above, btw! Just love the way those big eyes peer @ you from the side of the river bank...A clever interpretation ;)
Heading to Paris in a few months...I can't wait! I prob won't be doing much relaxing in the big city. But we are hoping to cope with the stress by spending a few days in a beach town bordering France!
Any fave spots in Paris, I should check out?!
