I have a new obsession and she is called Shae Acopian Detar. It was on an early evening that I've found her majorly MAJORLY! inspiring blog and I stayed up all night reading through her archives. The girl is a creative genius, a vintage princess, my hero and role model... She is an aspiring photographer just like me and I cannot wait to style my first vintage photoshoot in her honor next week! Go check her out, I know you gonna love her! :)

Inspiration: Alfie
Some of the key aspects of photography are inspiration and good planning. I've recently started to work on organizing an Alfie themed shoot and in the name of research I re-watched the movie last night. J'adore! Could Sienna Miller look any more gorgeous?! The collages are amazing (and you know how much I adore collages :), hence I'll be working with my little team on trying to replicate the drama and passion that are in these images. Excuse me for the crappy image quality, I literally took pictures of my laptop screen while watching the movie! :) Enjoy!

Tips for a Better Life
A long, long time ago... before I even had a blog I found this somewhere (unfortunately I don't remember where it was... sorry) I loved this list so much that I decided to print it and put it on my office wall. Well, since than I don't have a real office box anymore (not sad!!! :) and just found the list in my archives again. Get a cup of tea/coffee/whatever and read it! It's worth it I promise! :)
1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
3. Sleep for 7 hours.
4. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Play more games
6. Read more books than you did the previous year
7. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6
9. Dream more while you are awake
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants
11. Drink plenty of water
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
13. Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.
14. Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness
15. Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
16. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
17. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar
18. Smile and laugh more
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.
20. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does
21. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present
23. Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don’t compare your partner with others
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you
25. Forgive everyone for everything.
26. What other people think of you is none of your business
27. However good or bad a situation is, it will change
28. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
29. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.
30. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need
31. The best is yet to come
32. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
33. Do the right thing!
34. Call your family often
35. Your inner most is always happy. So be happy!
36. Each day give something good to others

Stevie Nicks: Gypsy
So I´m back to the velvet underground,
Back to the floor that I love,
To a room with some lace and paper flowers,

Back to the gypsy that I was,
To the gypsy that I was,
Doo, doo, doo, doo.
And it all comes down to you.
Well, you know that it does.
Well, lightning strikes,
Maybe once, maybe twice.
Ah, and it lights up the night.
And you see your gypsy,
You see your gypsy.
To the gypsy that remains,
Who faces freedom with a little fear,
I have no fear, I have only love.
And if I was a child, and the child was enough,
Enough for me to love, enough to love.
She is dancing away from me now.
She was just a wish,
She was just a wish,
And a memory is all that is left for you now.
You see your gypsy, oh,
You see your gypsy, ooh, ah.
You see your gypsy, you see your gypsy.

Gisele for VOGUE
I just can't get over how amazing Gisele Bündchen looks 6 weeks after giving birth to son Benjamin.
I admire her business ethics, lifestyle and eco-interests (and husband :))
She scored the cover of Vogue this month. Read the whole article here.
I love you Gisele. You are a true inspiration.

One is the Loveliest Color
I think my wardrobe is too black. One of my spring resolutions is to buy and wear more colors and more prints (hippie flower prints!). Somehow I'm always attracted to simple and ageless black pieces and have more LBDs than I could count. :) I remember a while back Joanna from A cup of Jo (a real blogging celebrity I know you all know :) posted an article in the NY mag about five New Yorkers who wear only one color (all day, every day and not black!). I was so shocked! I find myself going back to that article time and time again and decided to share the images with you here as well.
Could you wear only one color? What would it be?
