Photo Props: Chalk Speech Bubble

I truly believe that the key to a great photo session is choosing the right location and having some superb props to have fun with. I've been wanting a chalk speech bubble since forever so I was exstatic when Photojojo sent this one over for me to play with. I can't wait to bring it along for my next photoshoot, but I'm thinking about incorporating it into outfit posts as well! Photojojo is one of the cutest, most fun store on the photo market right now, I would honestly love to own everything they sell! Here are a few of my current favorites:

Apartment Hunting

I can't believe that in less than two weeks I'll be hunting for my dream apartment in Barcelona! I've already started my research and I moreless know what I want. I've chosen my favorite districts and I keep my eyes open for a nice, big, light room for rent. I'll for sure move together with other people to get into the swing of things, make new friends and make sure that I never get bored. Finding cool flatmates is on the very top of my priority list right now! ;) It's gonna be such a different life! I haven't lived together with someone (apart from my ex boyfriend) since I was in college. Getting very EXCITED! ;)

September Photography Roundup

September has been one of the busiest months for En Route to date. I´ve shot portraits, engagements and bridal sessions in Berlin, Budapest and Vienna and I had a hell of a lot of fun along the way. Here are some of my favorite posts from En Route this month.

I shot Olga and Dennis´ engagement session in the Buda castle. The light was wonderful and they really worked it for my camera! I´m smitten with their images.

This mom and daughter session was so much fun to shoot! Look at those piercing blue eyes!

I shared some of Livi and Alejandro´s family pictures with baby Sebastian from a beautiful mountaintop in Dublin. Those viewes were amazing!

Most of Hajni´s maternity session is still to be published in October, but this little sneak peek has leaked already. Just wait until you see the rest! LOVE!!!

I shared some images from one of my favorite shoots ever. Can´t believe it´s been a whole year since this shoot!

I took some images for the Schwarze Dose 28 blog featuring Bonnie Strange, model, photographer, musician and artist extraordinaire. Check out her interview, she is seriously AWESOME!

Bonnie is so amazingly cool, that she´s agreed to pose for me as a bride for my En Route promo video shoot too! I cannot wait for the video to be ready! I´m HORRIBLE on camera but I think the video will be so much fun... you´ll finally get to see why I don´t video blog! ;D

October will have a fair share of excitement in store as well! ;) I´m currently offering special rates for 2011 weddngs, so if you know someone getting married this year (who is still looking for a photographer) holla at me! ;)

...these are a few of my favorite things...

1. Printed Boho Maxi Dresses for fall! In the past, skirts and dresses have been exclusively for summer for me, but lately I´ve been playing more and more with incorporating maxi dresses to my fall warderobe. I love to layer them with leather jackets, knits and scarves.

2. Fall Photoshoots are the best!!!! The light is amazing, the temperatures are balmy... simply perfection. I cannot wait to share with you the engagement session I shot with these two in Berlin yesterday for En Route.

3. My new book that I cannot wait to read. I heard so many wonderful reviews!

4. This Equipment Sophie blouse is just a dream! How perfect would it be to shoot weddings in?

5. House of Harlow Arrow Drop Necklace... Swoon!

6. I´m on the market for a new carry on and I think this DVF beauty might just make the cut! ;) I love the olive color and it´s also unbelieveable affordable!

7. House of Harlow Cary sunglasses... Perfection!

8. I´m obsessed with this ASOS Aztec print coat! I have way too many fall coats already but none of them is printed, especially not with such a cool pattern. Temptation, temptation!
