Military Tourist

 {Military Jacket, Peach T - Zara, Belt - Vintage, Ring - from Tunisia, Bag - ASOS}

One day after this, the weather has just decided to take a 360 and we went from summer heat to autumn cold and rain. Looking out at the window I don't have much hopes for an Indian Summer either.... This year I did have a little part of me looking forward to fall though. The part that loves to wear leather boots and boyfriend blazers (like this and this) and the part that cannot wait to start photoschool! This military jacket (seen here) is one of the Zara purchases I've been looking forward to wear. We all know it's gonna be one of the major trends this season but I also feel it's so me. Belted with a peach/silver belt and a peachy T, I was one happy fall advocate on a sightseeing tour in Budapest over the weekend. :)

What are you most looking forward to wear this fall?

I LOVE THIS. I love the military jacket - I am so loving this trend, though it's not exactly a trend, as military is usually a classic, in my opinion - and the peach underneath is genius! It looks like a pale peach, and that's certainly a color that I love.

Thanks for dropping by my blog!

love it!! I need a good, fitted jacket. my closet from last year doesn't really fit me anymore. *sigh* but it's a great excuse to stock up on some new cute stuff!

I can't wait to rock my rainboots! Sounds like the weather did the same turn here as it did there. Crazy...maybe it's that darn category 4 hurricane on the east coast causing a ruckus!

The shoes sculpture is a holocaust memorial, commemorating the Jews shot on the banks of the Danube in 44-45. Not sure they fit that well with your military jacket.

I can't believe you don't celebrate Halloween, I had no idea. So you have no funky cool decorations, pumpkins, witches, ghost? That does suck! I should send you one so you can get into the spirit!

Wow! I really love your blog!!! Just came across it luckily! hehe Those shoes along the river are too cool!!!! Can't wait to read more. :o)

Well, I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't realize those shoes on the riverbank were part of a Holocaust memorial. They are there to symbolize the Jews who were shot and then dumped in the Danube by the Arrow Cross fascist militia during the war. Isn't there any sort of sign posted there, or is it only in Hungarian?
