Birthday Boy

One of the reasons why I flew to London last weekend was my buddy Sean's 30th birthday bash. It was a blast! We had a huge Italian dinner, drank lots of wine and partied in a club until we could (which in London is ridiculously early). Do you wanna see the present I bought for him?

Voila: The Summerbelle London City Map! It was even more gorgeous in life than on the net! I'd highly recommend it as a present to anyone! (and it's so hard to find a good gift for a guy isn't it???)

P.S: It is a ridiculously great story how I know Sean, make sure to tune in for this week's Gypsy*Friday if you wanna know why!!! :)

Yummy London

I can't think of a yummier place on a Saturday afternoon than London's Broadway market. This is a magical place where the smell of spicy food and sweet pancakes mixes with fresh flowers and organic fruits and veggies and people are picnicking and playing with hullahopps in the park next door. simply lovely. We went for veggie burger on a salad, thai curry and lemon cheesecake a la picnik. Yum yum.

P.S: Last night I got home for a very bad surprise! Both the body and the right column of my blog shifted to the left column. :( In the end I had to delete and repost my last 3 London posts and all your comments disappeared! SORRY! But hallelujah... it's solved now!

I Shopped till I Dropped

Oh well.. as I mentioned yesterday I went crazy in Primark. I turned into a red eyed shopping monster buying everything I could grab... you just can't say no to those prices. Not only did I have to buy the biggest suitcase they had in the store just to carry my stuff out, but it's unfortunately not even big enough, so I might have to take some things back today. :) Buuhuuuuu

Here is some of my new acquisitions:
(P.S: in my defense I spent less on all this stuff than I would have on 3 pair of shoes in Topshop)

Greetings from London!

Hello Darlings!

This is just a quick "HI" from London. I arrived last night, spent the night talking and drinking (warming up for the weekend) and than I was dropped off at Oxford street this morning at 9 am. As I was bright and early,  I'm able to bring you exclusive, never before seen footage of the empty TopShop flagship store! :) (if you  have ever been there you know that mostly you need heavy maschinery just to get from one rack to another because of all the histeric shopaholics... but I was the very first customer today :). Probably for the first time, I was able to adore the store and all the beauty it has inside... I even managed to get a few shots before a guard kindly asked me to put my camera away. I do adore Topshop but knowing that Primark was next door prevented me from spending. Primark... well that has to be a story for tomorrow! I can only tell you that I just been through the biggest shopping craziness of my life... like a little girl in a candy store... only worse (much worse). I'll show you everything I bought tomorrow (ridiculously way too much stuff!!! :)

Now I have to run and get ready for the Gothan Project concert!

Have a FANTASTIC weekend!

P.S: Thank you thank you for all the incredibly sweet comments and a big warm welcome to all my new followers! :D

{Very comfy and ready for shopping madness}

Gypsy*Friday - London*UK

As I'm in London this weekend I had to dedicate Gypsy*Friday to this amazingly vibrant city. London is almost a second home to me and even though I never actually lived here, I do visit 3-4 times a year. I have more Hungarian friends here than in Hungary, most of my closet is from here and I always have the craziest parties in Londontown. :) I don't feel like a tourist here and in fact, on my last trip I had to force myself to do some touristy things (other than shopping and going out) just to feel that I'm really in London. :) It was difficult to find some pics I took here as .... you know I'm not a tourist, so I normally don't make too many. :)

This weekend is just gonna be amazing. Today I'll shop till I drop :), than we'll go out to see the Gothan Project with a bunch of friends, tomorrow Nothing Hill and Brickstone markets followed by my buddy Sean's 30th birthday bash (it's gonna be... leeeeeeegendary).

Yeeeyyy to a party weekend in London! Are you up to anything fabulous?
