NEW IN

Here are a few new items bringing a little spice into my pre-fall warderobe these days:

My new must have shoes for fall, the Heda Wedges! I love the hidden wedge and that it's super comfy and can be worn with anything. You still have a few hours to enter my giveaway to win a pair of your own! ;)

My jewelry box was missing golden cocktail rings and I was more than happy to get some new goodies. The fox ring is from Romwe, the rest is from Pennies/Primark from Dublin.

Meet Vance!

What I wish I was wearing in Barcelona

I have been a very good girl lately and basically haven't bought anything since the January sales. Not that my unemployed budget can afford much, but after a somewhat longer shopping diet my apetite is slowly creeping back. :) One of the things I love about Spain is how people love to dress up and how they make an effort to look good each and every day. These are just a few of the pieces I wish I had in my carry on to Barcelona.

1. RayBan Wayfarers - My golden aviators are one of my favorite accessories and even though I have wayfarer like cheapo sunglasses (seen here) I wish I had the real thing too! :)

2. Rick Owens Leather Jacket - These are an absolute dream and if I had unlimited funds it would be one of the first things to invest in. In the meantime my search for affordable alternatives continues. Any suggestions?

3. Michael Kors Black Ceramic Watch - I love my golden Michael Kors Jet Set watch to pieces but sometimes I do wish I had a lower key model as the gold can easily overpower the rest of my outfit. I think this black ceramic version would be a perfect alternative.

4. Hunter Original Tall Wellington Boots - On the second day of our stay it was raining the WHOLE ENTIRE day without a break, so I really did wish I had these classic rainboots with me.

5. Mulberry Alexa bag - My Mulberry obsession is out of control. I wish I could have every single colors from both the Alexa and Bayswater models :)

6. YSL Arty Wood Ring - I've been obsessing over these rings for some time now, but the new wood and black models make it even harder to resist.

7. Le Mode Accessories Dramatic Links Bracelet - I love the combination of gold and black leather. This bracelet would surely pump up the volume on any outfits and would have completed my Barcelona look perfectly.

These boots are made for lovin'

 

My new coats begged me to buy some new boots for them so I gave in. :) It's December, I just cannot say no... :) I still haven't bought a single Christmas present though... how about you??? Ahhhh time is ticking!!!

I was a good girl. I stayed focused and only bought one pair of shoes perfectly in line with my plan of buying a pair of navy wedges. I wanted something more open, but this was so comfy and perfectly matching my feet that I had to have it. So here it is: Navy espadrille wedges from the Penelope and Monica Cruz for Mango collection. Are Polka Dots the new Stripes?

With the temperatures heating up I see more and more polka dots popping up on the fashion scene. Well dots will not replace my beloved stripes but I think they could live together peacefully in any fashionable girl's warderobe. Here are some of the polka pieces you could find in my closet:

I Shopped till I Dropped

Oh well.. as I mentioned yesterday I went crazy in Primark. I turned into a red eyed shopping monster buying everything I could grab... you just can't say no to those prices. Not only did I have to buy the biggest suitcase they had in the store just to carry my stuff out, but it's unfortunately not even big enough, so I might have to take some things back today. :) Buuhuuuuu

Bye Bye Boots, Hello Cherries!

{Leather jacket & Shirtdress - Promod,  Leggings - Primark, Boots - Buttero, Bag - LV Speedy Cerises Edition, Aviators - Ray Ban}

Taking advantage of the last couple of days' moody weather I decided to wear my brown boots out for dinner the other night. Really, the only reason I'll miss winter is boots. :) This was also a great occassion to show you my first ever designer bag, the Louis Vuitton Cerises bag (by Takashi Murakami). When I stopped smoking (for the first time :) I got addicted to Haribo Cherries, which quickly led to an addiction to cherries in general. Now I own the whole Swarovski cherry collection and this LV bag (among many other cherry items :). No matter how many designer bags I have or will have, this one will always be special, not only because this was the first but because it was a present to myself as an independent working woman! :D
