September Knocking!

I can NOT believe that summer is almost officially over! I wish the weather was nicer in Berlin, however it has been one of the worst summers EVER, with lots of rain and cold nights. I'm looking forward to September as it's the best month for taking pictures! ;) The light is just amazing and the falling leaves provide the perfect backdrop! It's also the time  to start thinking about fall wardrobe and holiday shopping. Best time to start advertising on Gypsy*Diaries! ;)

I've received this flower jumpsuit from Romwe and its definitely one of my summer favorites. The first two questions are almost no brainers, but I always stumbled when it got to book recommendations. It was not even a year ago that I started to unleash the photography enthusiast in me and with almost ZERO technical knowledge I was also desperate to find the right resources. I was looking for a book which explains the basic technics (without going into too much details) and gives practical advise on how to take better photographs. This no fuss e-book shows you how to think and shoot like a pro, explains the basics of photography and helps the everyday travelers take better pictures with less equipment. Mine has now earned a permanent place in my carry on! ;)

Gypsy*Friday - Photography Getaways

Lately all I have on my mind is photography. Running to photo shoots, researching lenses, getting ready for photo school, getting to know Photoshop, developing my photography blog, I guess we could say that I'm obsessed! :) What I unfortunately don't have enough time to do is the most important thing of all... actually taking pictures. During my travels I often wish I could stop time, set my camera and shoot for a few minutes, but oh well, there is always a boyfriend, a girlfriend or a mother waiting impatiently for me  not tolerating my slow motion one bit! :) Sounds familiar? I was just considering the idea of going on  a photo vacation by myself, when I found out that Nicolette, a dear blog friend of mine has just launched her company  Photography Getaways which offers photography travel workshops in scenic vacation destinations. Where do I sign up?! :)
